Photographing birds means earning points to add to the overall progress of a national park license.
After earning the required number of points for a license, you will automatically level up. Every two levels, you can draw a random license bonus.
License bonuses are passive bonuses that are always active and very useful. If you draw a bonus set, you can also compete at a higher level. The bonuses only work when photographing the birds they are designed for, except for the challenge bonus in the fourth slot, which can be used for any bird photographed during a challenge. Each bonus works for a single bird, and you can have only one bonus per bird type in your license. The bonuses are divided into groups based on rarity; the rarer ones are more powerful, but you may need to draw the bonus multiple times. The first draw at each level is always free, after which you can draw a better bonus at the cost of 2 feathers per draw or 90 feathers for a more substantial set.
At the fourth level of each license, a challenge bonus is drawn. This feature is available during challenges and when photographing the required birds in events. Additionally, you can obtain a PRO license, allowing you to draw a bonus at each level.
A PRO license enables you to earn experience points more quickly than usual and allows you to draw a bonus at each license level (not every two levels like standard licenses). Licenses can reach level 12.
