The world is full of different birds, each with varying levels of rarity in reality. Some of them are quite common, some are decidedly rare, and some are even shrouded in mystery or exist only in legends and folk tales. The team at The Birders has sought to reproduce the same type of rarity in the game based on the visited national park. Each park has unique birds, although many species migrate and can be found in different parts of the world in reality. Below are the classifications of birds represented by different colors:

• Gray: Common - these birds are the most commonly found in the park
• Blue: Rare - these birds are rarer to find in the park
• Green: Epic - these birds are much more difficult to find in the park
• Purple: Mythical - these birds are rarely seen in the park but documented
• Gold: Legendary - qthese birds are extremely rare to see in the park, with some of them being documented only once in the selected park

All birds can be upgraded up to level 10. The rarer the bird, the more coins it costs to level up. For the same reason, the chances of finding copies of rare birds in packages also vary. Skilled and patient Birdwatchers who have upgraded specific birds to the maximum level will receive the conversion of those birds into coins and feathers instead of receiving additional copies of birds at the maximum level. Common, rare, and epic birds will be converted into coins, while mythical and legendary birds will be converted into feathers.
